    Hammer-Time Shooting Clinic

    Cost - $180

Are you ready to learn how to shoot a handgun? You are already an experienced handgun shooter? Great, this is the class for the novice and the experienced handgun shooter to learn the skills to significantly improve your shooting. Shooting a handgun is simple – stop the muzzle inside the target area, align the gun enough, and press the trigger without moving the muzzle outside the target area. It is simple, it’s just not easy.

Why is this a great class for the novice and experienced shooters? We will teach you the foundation of handgun shooting as taught by the winningest shooter who has ever lived, Rob Leatham. We’ve been taught personally by Rob and we’ve also been taught by one of his students, now his peer, Mike Seeklander; Will has been and avid student of Mike's for more than a decade and is now has been invited to teach with Mike many times, and accepted each time, for more than five-years, to include the FBI twice. Additionally, Will has trained many retired special operations personnel, retired law enforcement officers, and armed guards/executive protection personnel improving their handgun shooting.

This class is modeled off our Two-Hour Private One-on-One Range Session. We doubled the time and offering this as an open enrollment class.

    DEFENSIVE SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS LEVEL 1

Professional Firearms Training is a must, if you may at all attempt to defend yourself with one and expect to win and survive. I've taught this class to "soccer moms" to newly retired Special Operations personnel ... all were challenged in these courses.

The USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals (DSF) is the foundation of Intuitive Defensive Shooting from Rob Pincus (I.C.E. Training); formerly known as Combat Focus Shooting. Rob is one of my personal mentors. This is an Intuitive shooting program designed to help the student be more efficient with a defensive firearm in the context of a Dynamic Critical Incident.

DSF Level 1 is an five or eight-hour course that will expose the student to all the core principles and fundamentals of an intuitive defense shooting program. This course will cover the basics of intuitive defensive shooting, defensive accuracy, The Balance of Speed & Precision, an introduction to the understanding the Body’s Natural Reactions during a Dynamic Critical Incident, understanding the integration of lateral motion, and additional concepts as time allows. This course will also provide the student with an understanding of true Counter Ambush training with a defensive firearm, base level defensive shooting skills and a training methodology for continuing to develop those skills.

The course will cover the following topics:

    • Fundamentals of Defensive Shooting & Intuitive Skill Development
    • Defensive Accuracy
    • Lateral Motion
    • The Balance of Speed & Precision
    • Emergency Reload
    • Assessment
    • Understanding the Body’s Natural Reactions during a Dynamic Critical Incident
    • Presentation From The Holster
    • Simulation

The DSF Program is not designed to make you the best shooter you can be on the range, rather its goal is to help you quickly develop fundamental skills that you can apply in a worst-case scenario defensive shooting situation.

DSF is based on years of constantly evolving information about how the body works and what really happens during Dynamic Critical Incidents and has been heavily influenced by the diverse group of instructors that are certified to teach it and the thousands of students who have been through courses all around the world. The program features a variety of specialty drills and training methods that the student will be able to utilize in their own practice after the course in order to continue to develop their abilities.

Students are welcome to bring extra ammunition, as there will be certain drills where round count can easily be increased.
