DEFENSIVE SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS LEVEL 1
Professional Firearms Training is a must, if you may at all attempt to defend yourself with one and expect to win and survive.
The USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals (DSF) is the foundation of Intuitive Defensive Shooting from Rob Pincus (I.C.E. Training); formerly known as Combat Focus Shooting. Rob is one of my personal mentors. This is an Intuitive shooting program designed to help the student be more efficient with a defensive firearm in the context of a Dynamic Critical Incident.
DSF Level 1 is an eight-hour course that will expose the student to all the core principles and fundamentals of an intuitive defense shooting program. This course will cover the basics of intuitive defensive shooting, defensive accuracy, The Balance of Speed & Precision, an introduction to the understanding the Body’s Natural Reactions during a Dynamic Critical Incident, understanding the integration of lateral motion, and additional concepts as time allows. This course will also provide the student with an understanding of true Counter Ambush training with a defensive firearm, base level defensive shooting skills and a training methodology for continuing to develop those skills.
The course will cover the following topics:
The DSF Program is not designed to make you the best shooter you can be on the range, rather its goal is to help you quickly develop fundamental skills that you can apply in a worst-case scenario defensive shooting situation.
DSF is based on years of constantly evolving information about how the body works and what really happens during Dynamic Critical Incidents and has been heavily influenced by the diverse group of instructors that are certified to teach it and the thousands of students who have been through courses all around the world. The program features a variety of specialty drills and training methods that the student will be able to utilize in their own practice after the course in order to continue to develop their abilities.
Students are welcome to bring extra ammunition, as there will be certain drills where round count can easily be increased.

What you get is the book, the e-Learning Module (3-4 hours of online training prior to class) and the option to attend the Level 2 Course in the future.
