    Freddie Merc's Gun Wercs Certified, Licensed, and Insured Concealed Carry Instruction and Training will far exceed teaching you what you need to know to obtain your CCW Permit through our CCW Classes. We are your concealed carry specialists in Kalispell. This class is a Premium concealed carry class exceeding the Montana and Utah Concealed Weapon Permit training requirements. This is a professionally developed class by a National Training Organization with very professional materials. The textbook "USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense" is available to purchase for $25.00 ($30.00 retail value); we highly recommend purchasing and reading this book prior to class. Upon successful completion, you will be given a frame worthy course completion certificate that certifies your graduation from this course and exceeding the State requirement, as well as many other states. The minimum number of students for this class is five (5); we work with private groups as well.

    Schedule at Sportsman & Ski Haus: We begin teaching at 9am and will complete around 6pm. We ask that you be at the front door at 8:45am. Please bring a lunch.

     

    Schedule at our facility: We begin teaching at 8am and will complete around 5:30pm. We ask that you arrive between 7:40-7:50am. We do not have any places to eat lunch, so bring a lunch. We will break approximately every 60-90 minutes.

    We encourage you to purchase the textbook and read it prior to class. This will greatly increase your understanding, comprehension and retention as we teach the material. Additionally, we encourage you to read it following class for the same reason. The textbook is written as a cover-to-cover read, by chapter as you desire, or be used as reference book. We cover nearly everything in the book in the class, however, not all material covered in the class is in the book.


    If you don't have a handgun, eye and ear protection to complete the class, each are available for rent or purchase.

    Required gear:
    Classroom - Government issued identification, note taking materials, good attitude and open mind. Please bring your lunch, snacks and anything you want to drink other than water. Regardless of time of year, please bring a warming layer (sweatshirt, fleece, etc). Our lunch will be a "working lunch" as we teach.

    Range - Handgun, at least 100 rounds of ammunition, at least one magazines for pistols, eye protection, hearing protection, appropriate dress for the season/weather, good attitude and open mind. If you are renting one of our firearms, handgun, ammunition, and magazine will be provided and additional ammunition is available for purchase. If you don't have eye & ear protection, it is available for purchase or rent; eye protection rental is $1.00 and foamy ear protection purchase is $1.00.

    If you lack any of the above gear, please don't let this dissuade you from taking the class. Contact us to assist you with making any specific gear arrangements.

    ** If you cannot make your scheduled appointment for range time, you must notify me via telephone no later than six (6) hours prior to your scheduled time; the hours of 8pm to 8am are not inclusive in this notification time.     This course is five (5) hours in-length suitable for everyone who is wanting a refresher course in concealed carry. This is a very comprehensive course that may very well have exceeded what you were taught in your concealed carry class.

     

    Goal is to guide you through the most important topic of concealed carry.

     

    Benefits you to have a better understanding of concealed carry to further enable you to protect yourself and loved ones, while reducing the chances of being selected as a victim of violence.     This course is three (3) hours in-length suitable for everyone who is searching for a class to not become a victim of violence. This class is appropriate, and encouraged, for youth.

     

    Goal is to develop safe practices of reducing the chances of becoming a victim of a violent crime while understanding the psychological and physiological changes the body will go through during an attack.

     

    Benefits you to have a better understanding of your potential as a victim of violent encounters in your daily routine and when at home. You can better protect self and family through the recognition techniques taught and avoid violent encounters before they begin or to escape after they've begun.

    This course picks up where our USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense course ends. We touched on some of this information, but are going more in-depth into the legal portion and concealed carry.

     

    Will is one of only four instructors for the law portion of this program in the Northwestern U.S.. This program is an in-depth look at what is required for a claim of self-defense. You need to be able to protect yourself legally before AND after you were forced to defend yourself.

     

    Upon completion, you will be given a frame worthy certificate. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due one-week prior to class (seat guarantee) and final payment is due the day of class; if you cannot attend the class after paying the deposit, we will work with you for another class. If you haven't paid a deposit prior to the class, please call for seat availability. The minimum number of students for this class is five (5).

    We encourage you to purchase Andrew Branca's book, THE LAW OF SELF-DEFENSE and read it prior to class. Andrew was my instructor through this program and my curriculum is based on his teachings, as well as several other high profile self-defense instructors/expert witnesses. This will greatly increase your understanding, comprehension and retention as we teach the material. Additionally, we encourage you to read it following class for the same reason. The textbook is written as a cover-to-cover read, by chapter as you desire, or be used as reference book. Additionally, it has current laws regarding concealed carry at the time of printing.
